We are often told that a valuable part of the conference is the break, as delegates get to network with their peers and discuss topics of interest openly. 'Open Space' is like an organised break: Delegates suggest topics for discussion and facilitate their own meetings. The 'Open Space' concept is receiving wide acclaim.
