The Script Exchange and Competition is Back!

Do you have custom scripts for DOORS or Synergy? Send them in by October 1, for a chance to showcase your script and compete for the grand prize!

The script exchange sessions are one of the most popular events at the Telelogic User Group Conferences.

Telelogic experts and the Executive Advisory Board will review all submissions and choose the best scripts for inclusion in the script exchange competitions at the conference. The authors will be asked to present a five-minute overview and demonstration of their script.

At the end of each product competition, a grand prize will be awarded, by audience vote, for the most useful script. Following the conference, all selected scripts will be published and available for download at the Telelogic Web site

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to registered conference attendees only.
  • DOORS Scripts are limited to 75 lines each.
  • Attendees may submit no more than 2 scripts each.
  • Each script must include a brief description of its function, along with implementation/installation instructions.
  • Authors must sign a consent to publish form for the script.
  • Authors must be willing to give a 5-minute presentation on the script at the 2008 Telelogic Americas User Group Conference. If the author cannot attend, a co-worker may be designated ahead of time to present the script at the conference.  All script exchanges will be held during the last session of the conference on Wednesday, October 25 from 11:45-12:30PM.

Due to time constraints, no more than nine scripts will be selected for each competition. Scripts will be reviewed on a rolling basis — so get them in early!

If selected, participants in the DOORS DXL script exchange will be asked to submit the script along with archived demonstration data no later than 2 weeks before the conference. These will be pre-loaded onto a laptop for your presentation and demonstration. No PowerPoint presentations will be permitted during the session due to time constraints.

Participants in the Synergy script exchange can use their own laptops and present using only PowerPoint if they wish.
