Web Access to Central Requirements Repository
Telelogic® DOORS® provides a comprehensive desktop client environment for systems engineers and business analysts to edit and manage requirements and their traceability. Telelogic® DOORS Web Access™ provides other stakeholders (like business managers, marketing, and suppliers) with simple Web browser access to the same central repository as Telelogic DOORS users so that they also have visibility to requirements and the traceability relationships. With Telelogic DOORS Web Access, users don’t need to install any software on their desktop (or their Internet browser): requirements descriptions (including rich text, OLE objects, and tables), requirements attributes (both standard Telelogic DOORS information and user-defined) and traceability links can all be viewed via the Web. To make it easy for users to find their way around the requirements database, Telelogic DOORS Web Access offers intuitive navigation aids. A 'breadcrumb trail' and recent documents / favorites list aids users so that they can quickly get to the right place in the requirements database. For easy cross-referencing, users can open multiple documents or view multiple sections of the same document in moveable panes within a single browser window. Requirements attributes can be viewed in columns alongside the requirements they belong to; individual requirements can be viewed via an Attribute pane. |
