Highlights

The Rhapsody® Model Driven Development™ (MDD™) environment offers UML® 2.1, SysML™ and domain specific modeling capabilities, with UML, SysML, and DoDAF representing the solution’s core modeling languages. The Domain Specific Language (DSL) capabilities are a powerful technology differentiator for the Rhapsody family of modeling products. DSL enables systems engineers and software developers to create their own unique diagrams and diagram elements which are relevant to their design domain. Additionally, Rhapsody users access an embedded software design method that enables a code-centric workflow, easing MDD adoption by allowing hand-coders to build models automatically from code and then to leverage these models for analysis and automatic documentation production. Rhapsody consists of a set of core modules plus a set of optional add-on packages including:

Core Modules:

Add-On Modules:

  • AUTOSAR Pack – For design of AUTOSAR Systems models
  • DoDAF Pack – For design and simulation of DoDAF Systems specifications
  • Gateway – For integration with DOORS, RequisitePro and other requirements management tools
  • Test Conductor – For model driven testing
  • Automatic Test Generation – For automatic generation of test cases from your model
  • Interface Pack – For integration with ClearCase, Synergy and other configuration management tools, intergration with Simulink, import of Rose models and XMI support
  • Tools & Utilities Pack – For customizable documentation generation and creation of web based user interface mock-ups.
  • Value Pack – Combines all the capabilities of the Tools & Utilities Pack and the Interfaces Pack
  • Gateway Value Pack – Combines all the capabilities of the Gateway and the Value Pack
  • Teamcenter System Engineering Interface - This “software lifecycle management” solution – the result of the integration between Teamcenter® and Telelogic Rhapsody software – extends Teamcenter’s mechatronic PLM capabilities to include software development
