Telelogic System Architect® Highlights
By incorporating business process analysis with IT capabilities, System Architect For SOA can provide a single information source for decisions affecting SOA success, assuring all stakeholders are “on the same page.” SOA enables faster process adjustment for automated tasks. SOA and EA-- through its business process modeling and analysis features--support ongoing, iterative, refinements to automated operations. This, in turn, enables an organization to make strategic adjustments in response to market changes. Together, these disciplines allow IT and business to examine and model various processes in a business context to identify processes that drive the better result and are a higher priority in their SOA strategy.
System Architect For SOA target audiences include:
- Business Process Owners and Business Process Architects who are concerned with the business-value a Service Oriented Architecture can provide them. Examples of their interests include services that will make their business more agile, competitive, and able to quickly respond to industry change.
- Business Process Analyst or the service component designer, who have the biggest challenge of attaining enough valuable information from the business owner and business architect so that they can guide direction of services that truly provide business value. They are in the middle, and need the most help to ensure the success of a SOA project. They care about assuring new services provide maximum impact to the organization, without need for redesign, and leveraging existing technology to achieve service reuse and commonality.
- The final audience is the system architect, the software developer, and the tester, who are responsible for creating new services, service-enabling legacy applications, and making sure they work correctly. They are concerned with implementing the service as quickly and effectively as possible, with accurate requirements and organizational direction.
- Additionally, System Architect For SOA targets CIOs, directors, managers, architects and any other team member involved in SOA deployment. This is a first in a series of announcements that target the business process owner and other stakeholders in SOA deployment.
